Culprits 1. BCCI 2. Dravid 3. BCCI
by on Mar 25, 2007 10:06 AM

I believe that the main reason for failure is the driving force of BCCI, MONEY. Otherwise, they would have played Bangla Desh a few times in the past years and Bangla capabilities known to India. The sooner everyone realises, better it will for the Indian cricket, that Dravid is a very good technician and a great gentleman but not a leader, a planner or an innovator. Indian cricket is doomed while he is India's captain. Finally, the selection committee (who selected them: BCCI). Why insist on reputation and not performance, else you would not have Kumble, Haribhajan, Irfan, Sehwag in team and you will have people like Pawar and Gambhir. Dhoni has also grown to big for his shoes, while a genuine performer like Kartick sitting on the bench.
