I have altered rediff's method to some extent to take into account the match situation. As in a high scoring match a low-scoring match, and also bowler's efforts getting rewarded fairly. The evaluation method is defined at http://sudheersahu.blogspot.com/2007/03/most-valuable-player-of-world-cup.html and is applied on first two matches of India in the subsequent articles, which are at http://sudheersahu.blogspot.com/ We can apply the method to all teams all players but for the lack of time I am doing it only on the indian players.
