Bob Woolmers demise
by on Mar 19, 2007 07:31 PM

We have lost a great great man - he was probably and very rightly termed by Fanie De Villiers as the Scholar of Cricket - may god bless his soul.

I am a Pakistani and could i make a very sincere request to all of you - i read through messages and i see people blaming the Pakistan cricket team - if you blame the politicians fine but the players - come on please can u understand how hard it is to be sitting listening to a man one day and find out he is dead the next. A coach is like a father you can have disagreements with your father but that doesent mean that when your father dies people blame you for your disagreements with him if at all - may be there was nothing between the team and Bob it is all media specualtions - lets grow up and be counted as human beings and lets not disgrace a great man by using his death as a vehicle for criticising others.

My whole hearted condolences to his family, friends, Pakitan cricket team and to all fellow circket lovers who have lost a true cricketer in every sense of the word - and would certainly like to see him buried in a Pakistani flag.
