Agreed that Ganguly was slow against Bangladesh but had he not been holding the fort at one end India would have probably finished at less than 150.Rather than blaming seniors what would you think about the scores of Uthappa and Dhoni? You have mentioned about Zaheer but why was Agarkar so heavily relied upon despite his dismal performance? Lastly regarding captaincy : a captain is as good as his team. Agreed ! But it was also agreed by different self-styled pundits that team India 2007 was better than Team India 2003. How comes then that Team India 2003 fared better than Team India 2007 despite having an "inferior" captain?The same Zahir Khans/ Sehwags/Tendulkars/ Harbhajans were part of the same team. My dear friend, you'll be better off remembering that captains are born, not made !So please forget criticising Team India-it is inferior captaincy and groupism that has led team India out of the World Cup.
