RE:RE:Rahul brutus Dravid
by ramachandran nair on Mar 12, 2007 05:06 PM

Here, I believe, Mr More, the so called then chairman of the board, was mainly responsibile for keeping away Gangully in the team, as a logical support to Chappel. In the process, dravid also did not say a single word in favour og dada and he was harping on performance. He himself was out of contention on numerous occasion due to him form and also due to habit to scoring on a snail pace. Dada helped him a lot then, keeping him in the team, a batsman cum keeper, just to save dravid face. Unfortunately, he did not pay him back, in the same coin. Similarly, the so called little blaster, Sachin, also did not utter a single word about dada, under whom he played so many matches. This speaks their behaviour pattern. Habit seldom dies. Only after Mr Vengsarkar took over a chairman, the things started brightening for Dada and the rest is history. And I strongly believe Dada fares better than these so called custodians of the game.
