Here is a clear explanation on rules for qualifying for Super 8, straight from ICC website. http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc/rules/wc07_playing_conditions.pdf Please refer to page 20 onwards. It clearly states that team with most wins in the group matches will be placed higher. So If India wins all their group matches it will be slated as B1 and not B2 as this genious describes it to be.
