This format was decided long back - Cannot beleive Rediff has allowed some idiot author to make this prime news. Also, there is no guarantee that India will go to the Super 8. If India loses to Bermuda, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka then they will not qualify. In that case whichever team qualifies will be B2. If India and Sri Lanka qualify however India will be B2 even if they win all their games. I agree it is a little confusing but the author has absolutely misunderstood the whole thing.
