Irfan Pathan made his debut against Australia, at the age of 19, in 2003, at the Adelaide Oval, and showed tremendous courage to swing the deliveries in to the right handers. He had tremendous success in the later couple of years, just because of his mental acumen to drop the delivery at unplayable spots.
Coming to the point, this ability, to put the cricket ball in a reasonably unplayable spot, has come down rather drastically for this youngster. Dunno, why his confidence went so low.
Slippery bowling actions permit inaccuracies in pitching. Pathan, can change his action now. Not too late.
