Its high time we stop making icons of few players. The entire selection process needs to be democratised. Just like Job ad., there must be open ad. and all applicants must take a standardised test of bowling, batting and fielding by and against a robot. Whoever scores maximum marks on merit must be picked for the team. I have no doubt that there are atleast 100 if not 1000 better playing indians. Dr.B.Ashok
