Birthday wishes and 2 cents advice
by xyz jkkl on Apr 26, 2007 09:29 AM

Hi Sachin,

Its your birthday and so wish a great one. Please don't feel bad when people criticize you. We are also watching other cricketers and we don't want centuries from you what we need is consistency. A 50 or 60 in almost every match will do the trick rather then a Century in every 5 matches. You have fought and won many battles but you are yet to win a war and that's what is gloomy about your carrear. People remember heroes who have won Wars not battles. It is your decission to/not to continue playing, but remember only if you think you can play and win a war then only you should continue, hitting centuries against Bangladesh is not what you should be playing for. One Example- Stephen Fleming though being a wonderful captian, and inspite of his team reching the semi-finals bowed out of captaincy. That's what called taking responsibility. It just made him a greater player.
