when everyone critisises chappel, including mr gavaskar, why do they forget the period when the same Indian team made a world record chasing consecutive matches. At that time the so called experimenting of sending Dhoni/Pathan/Agarkar at no 3 was hailed by everyone. Now the same ppl go on criticizing the same experimentation. Its only complecency on Indias part that has put them where they are.And as far as Mr Gavaskar is concerned, he should know that being a great batsman doesnt mean Chappel could make everyone in the team a great batsman too. If that could be the case, Rohan Gavaskar should have been the best batsman in India , considering the stature his father holds. Players getting complacent is the only reason why we are out of thw world cup.
