Gavaskar's Views
by Salil Bane on Apr 23, 2007 01:49 AM

To me the views of Gavaskar, blaming coach Greg Chapell for India's debacle is nothing but a gob. Frankly speaking what has Mr. Gavaskar done for Indian cricket since retiring in 1987??? I feel this is a million dollar question. It is very easy to sit on the benches and criticize the other. If Mr. Gavaskar is really so worried about Indian cricket why didn't he offer his expertize in one way or the other,or atleast some part in service. I think Mr. Gavaskar is only good at one thing, criticizing others. Didn't he comment about Australian team just before the world cup? In return he got blasted at by every Australian player and media and was even rudely told to mind his business and check out his own country's performance. And as it had to be Team India didn't leave him any chance to put up his head. Team India ensured that they rub the salt to the humiliating injury to Gavaskar brought to him by the Australians.
I don't understand why people comment on others when their own backyard is full of stench. And if you indeed have to comment on others, first clean the dirt in your backyard. This will be conscientiously more correct.
