Keeping Dravid as captain again shows the moral depletion of India%u2019s policymakers.
India is a country full of talent and ambition, but when anyone tries to put forward great ideas, they are met with politics and are frustrated. Then they just give up, and go away. So, at the end of the day, complete losers are left to call the shots. I really had hopes that the BCCI would take this opportunity to axe all the current "stars" and build a new team with young and motivated players and announce a new captain. I thought they would show vision for the future (e.g., win WC 2011)... in which case, this was a great chance to experiment with a completely new team against Bangladesh. This would help build team spirit and a hunger for victory.
Kapil's 1983 team was much weaker than our 2007 team - on a man-to-man basis. But they worked as a TEAM, and their spirit was unbeatable. I cannot imagine this happening under Dravid - whose body language at the WC2007 was clearly that of a loser.
Oh well... I know there are thousands like me who want to see India become champions, but are totally frustrated by the politics that prevents success. And, finally, when the heat of the moment is gone, we just give up and become silent spectators.
