Indian Cricket
by Rman on Apr 05, 2007 06:31 PM

The problem lies with the fact that the Indian players think they are so much bigger than the game. Therein lies their problem. No matter how big the player, the game is always bigger. Reason they think they're oh-so-all-that, is because they're minting money.

Ironic isn't it, that BCCI is the richest board in the world, and yet they run after Sahara like beggars for more money - what are they doing with all the cash they already have?

The Indian Team is the richest team in the world and in one-days, tell me what major international tournament have they won outside the subcontinent over the last 20 years? Natwest...was the coup they sprung. Winning the Natwest is worthy justification of several crores/year for these guys. The witch-hunt has begun, the fall guy has been picked. Yet again we will see that justice is blind. Players like Agarkar, Sehwag and other loosers will still play for India. Boy, sure looks like Indian Cricket is heading down the royal flush...
