Hi Manoj
You have become very emotional! We Indians are made more of emotion than hard realistic stuff but the question is that by pushing a bunch of raw newcomers in and shoving out the oldies, are we going to change the results of TEAM INDIA ? Look at Team Australia- their average age is 30 .Let us accept the fact that the team failed in only one match (which they had not, I'm afraid, taken it dead seriously). As regards the Sri Lanka match it is nerves that got them down along with a few hiccups in the team selection.Prior to that we Indians had brushed aside the Windies in a humiliating way. You are talking about youngstars but what about the ones that managed to find their way to Team India !What about the performance of Uthappa/ Dhoni/Srisanth etc? You find oldies like Sehwag/ Ganguly at the top of performers' list even amongst this failed lot! By the way, calling senior performers like Ganguly and Tendulkar cheaters you are calling all Indians cheaters - because it is we Indians who have put them on the raised pedestal where they are now!Throw away your emotions and be more realistic . What India needs now is an unbiased selection process and a mature blend of youth and experience. And this should take place without the presence of HE(His Excellency) Greg Chappell! Having had an extensive contact with Caucasians I can safely conclude that the summary of his thanksgiving statement actually means "I am glad to get out of this goddamned country and its ****** people ! To **** you go - I have been able to get my kitty". He sadly lacks the basic ability of a coach -that of being a good motivator-and its no wonder that even his native land, Australia had thought about hiring him after the retirement of John Buchanan-as they are only too aware of his negative attributes!
