If u think some one who is not on talking terms with the head of the management can perform in the field, u r living in yr own paradise. Mental state is extremely important for performance. Any management guru will tell u. We become so obsessed with our regional sentiments that we forget to apply basic principles of good management. I do not consider Saurav to b a batsman of the class of Sachin or Rahul but the man is definitely a better manager of men. I will hasten to add that going back to him can not b an option.
