RE:Indian Cricket-Better Days Ahead?
by Ganesan Ramanathan on Apr 15, 2007 03:51 PM

You Bengalis how parochial you can be?. Where was ganguly when India lost to Bangladesh and Sri lanka. He was made the openeras was his rightful position. What about Tendulkar? Why he alone had to bat lower down? Even then Ganguly did not play to see that India win the match. What is the point in telling he was the lone fighter. If you see the scores, Dravid also was a lone fighter. The blame for India's exit ahould go to all and no one should be spared. Ganguly's days are over. He was not removed from team for any reason other than his successive failures before he was replaced with Dravid. The credit for India's victories under Ganguly's captaincy should go to John Wright the coach and the support given by other players including Dravid, Tendulakr, laxaman and others. For heaven's sake stop this parochialism which only is killing Indian cricket.
