Jothikumaran's claim that the channel fooled him is baseless and it is basically the tell tale habit of criminals who cry foul once they are caught...
1. Jothikumaran should explain why the sponsorship amount of Rs 5 Lakhs is being paid in cash to a national sports body representative. Even if it was offered, did he mention ANYWHERE during the conversation that the money should be deposited in the sports body's bank account by way of a DD / Cheque / TT or whatever.
2. Who authorised financial transactions on behalf of the federation to be conducted by Mr. Jothikumaran..?
3. If Jothikumaran is so "clear and transparent" how come he was not aware about the above two basic facts..???
The fact is : Jothikumaran is a corrupt official of the sports federation and it is people like him who should be blamed for the poor shape that Hockey (in India) is in.
Not only should Jothikumaran be banned from occupying any posts in the Sports Federation (permanently) but also a criminal case should be filed against him and his income for the last 10 years should be "minutely" scrutinised...
