Well said. Actually the Holy Book talks about women being modestly dressed without any vulgar exposure of her body. It does not say anything about covering the face or anything like that. In fact this dress code should be adhered to by all women irrespective of religious affinity as no decent or dignified community would like its women to be dressed in a vulgar fashion like some of our women in the show business/modelling world which is blindly copied by the uncultured and those with poor family backgrounds. The traditionally sari or salwar kameez are perfect dresses for women. If only the moderate Muslims who are in the majority could pick up the courage to defy their self-appointed moral guardians-the mullahs. Just one or two Shabana Azmis,Javed Akhtars, Dr.Taslima Nasreens or Teesta Setalvads are not enough. Come on, please stand up and be counted. We have millions of liberal Muslims in India alone.
