At last the Modi juggernaut has rolled out faster and stronger than expected. There were several attempts to either, reverse, stop or slow it down. But, neither happened. There has never been such a bitterly fought and won election in the recent past. Nearly the whole world seemed to be against Modi, and he fought them all and won with flying colours.

The first casualty was the so called tallest leader of the congress party, along with her speech writer. Surely in the next state elections, the local leaders would at least like to have a copy of the speech from madam before she delivers publicly since they unfortunately don%u2019t have a choice of keeping her away from canvassing. It%u2019s been two days the results have been announced, but madam, who was so vociferous, has been off the TV screen and gone into hibernation, leaving the local leaders and others to spin out vague theories to dilute Modi%u2019s success.
Second to be crushed under Modi%u2019s juggernaut was the utterly biased press, including their exit polls. From the word go, the press seemed to be hand in glove with the congress, and was trying hard to divert the election campaigning from development to communal.
