Few years back I read an article by a journalist (if I am not wrong it is in Readers Digest) about Arvind Eye Hospital which is serving poor and rich equally. Even the paid patients and free patients get same treatment. There is no difference. Dr.Venkataswamy wants to eradicate cataract and wants to sell cataract operations like McDonald's pizza - at such a cheap rate(/0. However, the main drawback to fight this is talented and trained medical professionals. Even though Arvind Eye Hospital trains professionals still lot of such people who are having kind heart like Dr.Venkataswamy are needed to serve the poor people living in villages.
