Hi Arun This is a well known eye care hospital in tamilnadu, along with Shankara Nethralaya, which is in Chennai...Thats why i think the Aravind did not have a unit in chennai, as already there are many good hospitals there.
It opened in places where there was a need for the same.
Generally the media does not highlight good things in life...
