You have made an intellectually dishonest statement. I have been to Iran and I know how much Islamic and progressive they are. Years of sanctions has not demoralised the Islamic republic. Islamic oriented party AKP in Turkey has been responsible for it's economics success. That is the reason the muslim countries in particular in Arab states have entered the post-nationalist secular era which dominated these countries in 1960s and 1970s. No wonder the secular dictator of Egypt Husseni Mubarak has been facing immense opposition from the Islamic party Muslim Brotherhood supported by the vast majority. Morocco, Aljeria, Uzbekistan have also witnessed the growing popularity of Islamic parties.
