I agree that our political and social traditions have to be changed. But that is a different story.
I have seen many highly educated people believing in superstitions. Many west-educated guys taking dowry (10 lacs and more, mainly Andhra, Kerala ppl) in their marriage, many top-level bureaucrats taking bribes and agreeing to others misdeeds and so on.
