BJP Again Won On Negative Votes
by Praveen George on May 25, 2008 08:12 PM

BJP has never won an election on real issues.
And the story repeats , in gujarat, in karnataka. Having said that more thhan ism it is persons that make politics work.So if BJP has strong and positive people like Sushma Swaraj to lead then even stupid policies can do good to the nation.BJP is exactly same as the republicans in US. Spread fear that some huge disaster is going to happen to the majority - Christians in US , Hindus in here.
Well people are misinformed so the election is plainly null and void.
Democracy is successfull only when voters make informed decisions, mine mafias and criminals have got elected primariy because of this.
No country which has followed extreme right wing policies have become successful and stable democracies .Last 8 years of Republican Rule-Contrast that with Labour in Britain.
India might endup as a hindu fundamentalist country like pakistan or afghanisthan, i hope that does not happen. All i can say is our fellows lack wisdom. Yes rich people would make more money in a right wing setup as people will never question because of thier religious leaning. So good luck guys. This nation is going to the cows :-)
