SIMI was banned by NDA in year 2000......the UPA let the ban expired in 2005,and reimposed the same in 2006.....but that period was used by SIMI to strengten itself financially and also on count of cadres........This Same UPA govt made hue and cry when the ban was imposed ny NDA and now they themselves have imposed the ban.
