I think you were correct in your original message. So far, BJP has been instrumental in finishing BJP. No party had the amunition to finish BJP after it came to Power in 1999. But it was plagued by doubts about itself: Whether to pursue the Ram Mandir Agenda, whether to discuss Article 370 or not! And the party finished itself. If credit has to be assigned to someone for this, it should go to Atal Bihari Vajpai. And not to Sonia Gandhi or Mulayam Singh, Mayawati or Laloo Prasad. One sure way of finishing the party is; to let it govern for 5 years.
