Who is your grandfather?
by Dipak Bose on May 16, 2008 02:13 PM

Omar is the grandson of the man who has started the campaign in 1934 to drive out Hindus from Kashmir along with the Maharaja. At that time possibly 40 percent of the population in Kashmir were Hindu and Sikhs; today it is 99 percent Muslim.
Of course Muslims have benefitted by taking over the houses and land of the Hindu and Sikhs and so they were glad to drive out all non-Muslims as they did in Pakistan, East and West.

It is a lesson that Muslims cannot stay peacefully with others if the Muslims are in majority or a significant monority.

That is the reason the only way India can survive is to have an exchange of population and partition of Kashmir.
