Afzal, in thiat case why all the Mullahs, Muftis and other islamic leaders objected to the Calcutta Quran Case which was about the word 'jihad' and its islamic interpretation. You have cleverly asked where it is mentioned killing of innocents is jihad. But according to the same very Quaran, every 'Kafir' is by default not innocent. So killing a 'Kafir' is not killing an innocent.
