reservation is a populist policy
by mukesh dhariwal on May 14, 2008 05:34 PM

reservation is a populist policy and it has been in existence for past 50 years, it's impossible for any government to take it back. The 'unreserved' class has no choice but to flog off to mediocre university in western countries like UK, Canada and USA.even non-English speaking European countries are attracting large number of Indians by starting their courses in English and selling seats like candies to anyone who's willing to pay. This caste based reservation is benefiting western economies and their knowledge pool. But in country like India with 'chalta hai' attitude no one cares as everyone's concerned with his/her bread only. India will suffer tremendously in coming future from this reservation policy.
