SAINIK SCHOOLS AND FEES
by shanmugasundaramr on Sep 28, 2008 10:17 AM

The sainik schools now ask for more and more fees and the state governments in some cases are not giving the required scholarship.

this makes the parents to pay the largest share of the fee.

paying one time grants wont help the schools to reduce the free.
they are just twenty three in number and if the pay and perks and the employees are met by the central/stategovts as the case is with Kendriya Vidyalayas or the state govt schools, the education in sainik schools will become free.the matter is such a simple one and the people in control do not want to discuss the problem in this aspect for various vested reasons.
the only solution to the problem of sainik schools is to pay them teaching grants to meet the pay and allowance expenses.
In Tamil Nadu schools run by private trusts get the teaching grant and give free education to all children. But the TanilNadu sainik school is not getting the grant. The whole problem is messed up by giving scholarship to students.
