We know that most of the believers in the world are poor, so the kafirs will certainly make a point of it to disgrace Allah. But Allah has anticipated it in Qur'an by saying the magic words "if He please", insha Allah, if the believers are still poor because Allah doesn't want them to be rich, then Allah doesn't break his promise, right?
Even though Allah is willing to help the believers becoming rich, the believers must first help Allah as a precondition, then Allah will help them (insha Allah). There is no a free lunch, folks!
47:7 O you who believe ! if you help (the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet.
Just ignore the words inside brackets, they are not from Allah, but from those munafiqun trying to trap Allah to make them rich without their helping Allah first. So, help Allah first, then Alah will help you (insha Allah).
