The presence of Akhilesh Das in the Governing Body of AIIMS in 2005 and also in the Selection Committee paved the way for recruitment of doctors with questionable skill and integrity. A probe should be carried out to look into his personal interests served as a member of Governing Body, AIIMS in collusion with the then Director General Health Services for tampering selection rules for favouring his own candidates.
