During 1984 assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, the Congress party got a thumbing majority of 400 seats out of 424 and the then oppostion got only 24 seats. After that the BJP got elected in UP and they ruled the state much time. The UP state today is ruled by BSP and it says that Mayavati is backward cast but doing everything for uppers cast.
Congress & BJP is responsible for UP backwardness and now the BSP is looting the Uttar pradesh.
