Irrespective of what the US may think, we have no option but to go on with improving our ties with Iran. We need more and more energy to keep up or growth rate, and Iran can be a useful contributor in that regard. The US nuclear deal may be affected, but the fact remains, that right now, Oil and Gas contribute much more than nuclear energy. This situation is likely to remain for quite some years to come. The pipeline through Baluchistan would however be risky, since Pakistan seems to be unable to protect their own pipelines in that region.
