RE:RE:Pay attention to India's riots first

The government has to put them down. US puts down some Puerto Ricans who want independence. The few native Hawaiians who talk about independence gets laughed and scorned at. US will keep on occupying the US Virgin Islands, Guantanamo Bay and others. Canada will not let go of Quebec. Spain and France will not let Basque go independent. UK will always hold onto to Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Falkland Islands and others. The Dutch will keep its grip on Aruba and other terrorities. Russia will not let Chechnya go. Serbia don't want to let Kosovo go. India and Pakistan will always fight over Kashmir. Both Iraq and Turkey will not allow the Kurds to have its own independent state. Japan will not let Okinawa/Ryukyu go. Denmark does not want to loosen its grip on Iceland. The list continues. Do I need to go on???

So what's all the fuss about China wanting to hold onto a large chunk of its territory? Well, if China looses a large part of its land, it will probably become weaker. After all, USSR did help part of Mongolia gain independence a few decades back. Not that the Soviets cared much for the Mongolians. But it did weaken China. Russia obtained Siberia from the Qing dynasty. Perhaps the Soviets wanted more... And now, while the other superpowers are at it, continue keeping a rift between China and Taiwan. Why not, it prevents one giant country from becoming even bigger. Too bad the British and the Portuguese had to give Hong Kong and Macau back to China.
