tabraiz, the point is simple... converts are cowards of life... taking the shelter of the stronger, and in later years, to hype that they are followers of peace is completely wrong...
just as you said, islam is more of a political ideology rather than a spiritual one...
my point is not to start a verse to verse debate on islam... for perceptions differ... the average muslim mentality is seen as that of an agressive fanatic only...
to not acknowledge others beliefs is the fundamental reason why there is so much hatred in islam...
the hindu would go to a church to pray, as he believes that the spirit of worship is the virtue... can we ask that of a muslim??? beliefs are subjective... what is your belief may not be mine, and tolerance comes from understanding...
rational approaches can be found in any religion...!!!!
