To, Shri Suresh kumar ji, Hon., Minister for Urban Development Govt. of Karnataka, Bangalore.
Sir, &nb sp; Belgaum is a border area and as such even though Karnatak Govt is sparing no efforts to   ; improve roads & other eminities, internal quarrels delay the things - Rs. 100 Cr. allotted to Belgaum, either to corporation or otherwise, some leaders are unnecessarily projecting themselves as interested - ( Bonafide or otherwise) -some one or two Belgaum MLA’s have not much maturity and unnecessarily meddling in everything in works like widening etc. They are bringing bad name to BJP and hence you may please instruct some senior member like Commr., Belgaum city corporation, DC, RTO Belgaum, MP of Belgaum, SP or additional SP of Belgaum to walk on the streets to take people affected into confidence to asses traffic & necessity. Best thing is to walk along the road, for example from RPD cross to Patawardhan layout, a reach just 1.5 km and assess the requirement - 1. You may come to know that widening 50’ road to 80’ road is not a must and the existing road, with number of pits, can be strengthened by building required crust. 2. a. If widening is a must, restrict to just requirement, so that people residing along the   ; &nbs p; &nb sp; &n bsp; road have to part minimum of the building. 80’ft road involves demolition of some buildings & if not road edge will be just at their door. b.
