I agree fully with you on one point. Conversion should not be by force. And in India its extremely difficult to force someone into believing something. I think that it would happen only in Islamic states.. and thankfully India isnt one.. Regarding conversion by money... DO you think those who switch faiths seeing money are sincere to either their former or latter beliefs? Arent they making their belly their God? Ok whatever... should there be a law preventing that?

"Every man should have all the freedom in the world to exchange his faith for a morsel of food if he wants it, and when he feels he doesnt need it any more, he should have all the freedom to exchange his new faith for something else... " This my friend is true religeous freedom... :)

So why jail the man who gave him money? Especially if the person concerned is satisfied?

If you love them so much, why dont you donate and try to retain him? Or better still make his life worth living? Or if he is bent on money which you dont have, why not leave him alone..
