Uprising of any kind against any govt is a warning that all is not well and things cannot be taken for granted.The Tibeten uprising is class in itself and a warning to the Chinese communists that they can no longer suppress the peoples aspiration.If China has any regard to the world public opinion, instead of using arms against innocent civilians, it should call the leadership to talk to them and address their grievances.The early they do, it is better for them.What Chinese authorities fail to understand is this uprising is the beginning and it will spread like a wild fire to other parts of China where people are equally suppressed. Before it spreads to other areas, the Chinese Authorities would do well to understand the problem and solve them.It is possible that some Dalai Lama in some parts of China where people are equally unhappy may rise in revolt against the strict communist regime and do maximum damage to them. It is in their larger interest like what they did on economic front changing before world changes them. Popular mood in the world is that China should talk to either Dalai lama or other representatives of the demonstrators in Lahasa immediately. India on its part should press home this point.
