Meghalaya Circus.
by Hit Right on Mar 19, 2008 02:34 PM

Knowing fully well that the Congress-man Lapang did not carry majority why did the Governor ask Lapang to form the Ministry?
Our Lok Sabha Speaker was very particular to say that the opposition is bent upon
'destroying the democracy'! What would he say to this? How a Gov could act in this way? Whast was the justificatin? In Jharkhand they talked of 'Horse Trading' as the reason to deny Govt formation to non-congress party till Supreme Court intervened which was not to the liking of some! How a big 'tamasha' was made of mother and son visit shown all over our TV Channels?
Recently the BJP leader Reddy had stated that out of 11 elections held since 2004, all but one was lost by 'Madam's Congress' and that one state was that 'Large'state of Goa and we all know how it was achieved by the 'good offices' of the Congress Gov.! Adding Meghalaya only adds to that number as 12 and Karnataka would be the unlucky 13!
