Huge development of Nepal and Bhutan ??? And i wonder why they didnt become another Singapore?? Also in 17th and 18th Century also Tibet was under chinese authority and also from the Gurkha Kings and Khalsa kings of Punjab. Even during the first half of 20th Century tibetans were ruled by only some top ranked families of Lamas. These Lamas owned the land and the cultivators were called serfs who constitute a good 90% of their population. It also appears that the present revolt is similair to the daily revolts of the chinese working class in china against the capitalist model communism .... The timing of this rebellion puzzles me .. They chose Olympics as an International attention seeking event .. true it does , but I doubt any concrete action against the chinese will be taken by the international community bcoz of the chinese influence in world economy today. And there is no communism in India and will never be. CPI-M is just another BJP or Congress who are basically oppurtunists.
