One of my co-workers here in the U.S. spoke about what recently happened in Lhasa. He seems to be a geniune and credible guy. Here is what he said: 1. The riots and murdering were carried out by Tibetan monks and youth. They aimed at attacking innocent shop keepers and residents. It was nothing like a peaceful demonstrations. Nothing is related to religions or political freedom. 2. No country, including the U.S., will tolerate this type of criminal acts. 3. The Tibetan refugee community, and the refugee governments, receive secret funding and finance from special organizations in the Western countries, such as CIA. The fundings are budgeted based on how much anti-China campaign and actions executed annually. 4. Tibetan by large, enjoy a life much better than those in exile could never dreamed of. However, the western media continue to instigate hatred and violence into younger generation. 5. Peace will prevail in Tibet.
