It was the civilizing influence of Hinduism born in UP which brought rest of the Indians to fold of humanity. Today all channels are showing the holi in Brij (Mathura, Vrindavan and surrounding areas). It is because of all these great festivals like Holi and Diwali that ghattees and Punjoos are civilized today. Otherwise they would have been adivasis as ever.
