Highest amount of female foeticide (abortion of girl child) is done in Punjab and Haryana. As a result of that gender ratio is the most skewed in these two states. So it is funny to hear a Punjabi preaching to other people about female equality! And I have not even mentioned the duplicate autoparts factory in Ludhiana/Jalandhar.
