I dont think that there was any ethinic cleansing of hindus by buddhist anywhere in the world. People from their will might have started following the path of buddhism. And that should be accepted in a good society.
All the religions originated in India are very much similar and have very similar rituals. All these religions are based on the principle of peace and harmony. none of these religions encourage spreading the religion by virtue of sword.
