RE:Taslima's dilemma
by someone on Mar 17, 2008 10:11 PM

My friend Nasir,
If U were a Muslim and now studying Geeta that must be very refreshing....try 2 read what Aldous Huxley the very famous British Philosopher said about Geeta....he said "It is a book of Mankind, to guide them in the right direction". Geeta is really a fascinating book, Akbar was pleased so much that he ordered the Arabic Translation. Later Darashikoh who was Aurangzeb's elder brother translated Geeta into Persian. Always try to read the end pages of Geeta, which is known as "Geeta Mahatamya".
U must understand that Hinduism is a Sanatan Concept, i.e Traditional as well as Eternal. It evolved on its own as Man became more Intelligent as well as Rational.....it's founders are us, the people. Now we even can follow it as a Common Sense. I am proud to be a Sanatani and use it as a Common Sense. Yoga, Meditation is nothing but manifestation of Common Sense. Good Luck, and please say
Gita Rules
