I condemn last year police firing in Nandigram and i have full sympathy for all victims. But at the same time I condemn the way Mamata, Naxal, Jomiot Ulema, Cong have been capturing the area for long 11 months.They destroyed roads, bridges, culverts, were running parallel administration with arms.Around 27 people also got killed by Mamata´s supporters.They are also poor farmers, but their main fault is they supported industry there. Thousands of people who supported industry there were driven out by them, they were homeless. Police entered on 14th March 2007 to restore administration, not for land acquisation.Mamata would have restricted her supportes, instead their men gave arms to common people there. It was a violent movement with arms, nothing more. Nandigram Chemical hub and SEZ is a symbol of development. Mamata is opposing all developmental projects in Bengal with her best. Nandigram is one of the results of her best trying. She tried to pull out Tata motors in Singur, but failed, but she got success in Nandigram. If same Nandigram situation occurs in other state what they will do? Answer is Kalinganagar in Orissa. It would be better not to talk about Medha Patkar.She is just a symbol of anti development. She must go to her own state Maharastra, do something for dying farmers.
