Most so-called Indian restaurants and caterers in the UK are owned by Bangladeshi's and Pakistanis. This protest is NOT so much about the fate of the 'Indian' curries in the UK (which is basically Bangladeshi and Paksitani curries) as it is about bringing more of their relatives from Bangladesh and Pakistan into UK. I'm sure that the UK government is well aware of the domination of Bangladeshi and Pakistanis in Indian catering industry, and have taken strict menasures to curb the infiltration of muslim terrorists posing as 'cooks.'
