Shivaji is one of the most inspiring personalities in our history.
We know lot of stories how a group of friends have got-together and have built a sucessfull rock bands....but getting together with a handful of guys and building an empire which dethrowned the mughals and checked the europeans and british!!
Even some europeans then had some good things to say about his valour and strategies...
Wikipedia has some good accounts on him.
But then I wonder why there has not been a single film/ TV serial on him as yet? I guess this may have something to do with the commerical aspect, perhaps such stuff wont sell elsewhere....
